Celebrating Our Pharmacists: The Heart of Healthcare

pharmacists

October is American Pharmacists Month, a time to pause and reflect on the important role pharmacists have in healthcare, local communities, and the everyday lives of people around the country.

Pharmacies are the most accessible point of contact for healthcare needs, whether it’s a routine pick-up of prescriptions or new information regarding a developing issue. Having a team of experienced professionals provides communities with an invaluable source of tools and insights, enabling them to stay healthy through every season, year after year.

At Community Pharmacy, our team of pharmacists is the heart of everything we provide and do. We encourage all to contact us when questions arise, as serving our community is both our passion and purpose.

Why Pharmacists Are the Heart of Healthcare

Pharmacists act as a crucial bridge between doctors and patients. On average, Americans visit pharmacies almost twice as often as physicians and other health care providers, and this accessibility and familiarity build over time into trust.

A local pharmacy is a place where everyone in a community can receive education, advice, and medication management instructions verified by experts. When you need information on a chronic condition or health supplements for the upcoming season, pharmacists stand at the ready to provide aid however required.
